The Merchants Promotion Bureau of Dongying (MPBDY) is a non-profit government organization established to promote investment activities in Dongying. Through publicity campaigns and the organization of investment promotion activities, MPBDY strengthens awareness of Dongying both in China and abroad. To create a sound investment environment, MPBDY is also in charge of simplifying the administrative examination and approval procedures and providing all-round services for investment and other economic activities. The overall objective is to strengthen economic and trade ties with other areas and regions, thus promoting the social and economic development of Dongying city and the Yellow River Delta area.

MPBDY has established good relationships with many business associations, agencies and foreign-related government organizations both in China and abroad.
